History: Preachers-Kid.com is what my first website evolved into when my Dad became a Preacher.

Design: The current design is several years old, since it gets little traffic I haven't needed to update it. At the time I was learning how to use CSS to position and style page elements. Thus, the very simple design.

Programming: I use header and footer files to wrap the content pages, that way I only have to update a couple files to change the entire site. PHP is used to include them in the content files. An early version of templates.

Content: There is little content on the site. Just a few pages, and a forum. Currently I use Simple Machines Forum software to power the forum.

Future Plans: Learn how the SMF templates work and make the forums match the site. I also am considering moving into Drupal, and adding some social networking.

Other Comments: It's a pretty small site, but I think it's pretty cool that it's been around for over a decade!
